Our August meeting was held at Secretary Vera Gallant’s home, and she provided us with a delicious roast beef supper! 💙

We were honoured to award Treasurer Shari Klenk with a 10 Year Service Award 🏆. Shari is an amazing part of our executive, and we look forward to presenting her with a 20 year award in the future 😉. Being the Treasurer for ten years is a feat that not many people would do, but Shari does it with a smile! 💛

We were also very excited to have Maren come to our meeting to see what Kiwanis is all about. She is looking to give back to her community, and we were so happy she came! 💙

💙💛 We had a very special donation of a kitchen play set from Angela Oliver. She is Secretary Vera Gallant’s neighbour. Member Gordon Flath knew of a sweet little girl who was celebrating her 6th birthday, so he, Vera, and Member Phil Liska delivered it to her on behalf of our Club. Thank you, Angela, for your generous and thoughtful donation! You made a a huge impact on this special little lady! 🎁

🎓 Grade 12 graduation marks the end of one era and the beginning of another. Our club was honoured to award three, very worthy, recipients scholarships this June.

Our KEY Club had a backyard hot tub party for their windup at the end of May, and it’s safe to say that fun was had by all! 💦 💦

Special thank you to Secretary and KEY Club supervisor, Vera Gallant, for hosting such a fun party! 🎉

Our KEY Clubbers are an amazing bunch, and we’re so proud of their dedication and commitment! 🥳
