*Athletes may pre-bowl but will need to contact holiday bowl to book a time to do so. There will be no SO representative on site for pre-bowling.

Special Olympics Lethbridge is sad to announce the passing of a previous board member and volunteer Celeste Pryde.

“Special Olympics was very near and dear to her for decades. Not as a bowling coach but she was at every Special O sporting practise, competiton locally, regionally, provincially and simetimes nationally. Locally she was the Leth Chairperson for 15 plus years as well as other committees etc, She also was SO TEAM ALBERTA coordinator for all athletes and family to National Winter Games in PEI. We also went to the SPO worlds in China. Most SpO athletes and familied will remember Celeste for her committment and the team uniforms she arranged.” - John Pryde

“She was a busy lady committed to volunteering, community engagement and inclusion.”

We thank both Celeste and John for their dedication and knowledge sharing to our community.

🍁🧡 A Weekend of THANKS! 🧡🍁

While much of our Alberta LETR team was busy planning and attending the 2026 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games Final Leg, our incredible LETR members across the province were just as busy bringing communities together and raising funds for Special Olympics Alberta athletes!

This Thanksgiving weekend, we're looking back at some of those amazing summer and fall events and sharing a little extra gratitude with the people who made them possible!

Despite the run course being under construction this year, the community showed up in a BIG way for the 2026 Lethbridge Police Virtual Run for Special Olympics, raising an outstanding $35,500! WOWEEE!!!🎉👏

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who registered, logged their kilometres, volunteered, sponsored, and supported this incredible event!

The celebrations wrapped up with a wonderful gathering of athletes, participants, and supporters, along with a special pancake breakfast hosted by Lethbridge Firefighters Charities! 🚒❤️

Thank you for your generosity, community spirit, and continued dedication to making a difference for our athletes! We are so grateful! 💙🔥🏃‍♀️

HELP!!! VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!! We are in need of volunteers for our 5-pin and 10-pin bowling leagues. 5-pin is on Thursdays from 4:15-6pm and 10-pin is on Tuesdays from 4:30-6pm.
