Su Casa Rescue Su Casa Rescue is a non profit organization assisting dogs, cats and kittens one animal at a time. We'd love for you to join our Su Casa Rescue family.

Su Casa Rescue was stood up in October 2013 by Alana realizing there was more that could be done for the pups of California. We joined Facebook in January 2014 to gain more exposure and sharing for the pups in need of our help. With sharing and liking our page many babies have found their forever homes and will never know the stone cold floor of a Shelter again. Since then we have been called upon

to assist many Vancouver Island and BC dogs who found themselves in need. The majority of poops who have come through have been senior and medical cases however, this year (2022) we have had puppies born in rescue and many kittens requiring rescue in the community. We have a small foster network who assist and support us and without them we could not do what we do. Su Casa Rescue animals are lifetime members of our rescue and can always come back if required. We try our very best to ensure that the fit is the best for the animal and the adopter but we do realize that life events do happen. We also provide care for our adopted pups when they must be apart from their humanx. We are thankful that we have many come for staycations throughout the year! We are a small but mighty village that puts the needs and care of the animals first. We are slow and methodical in our approach to animal placement.

Yesterday was our 72nd Sunday Bottle Drive for our community animals that cannot speak for themselves in Honeymoon Bay Lake Cowichan Mesachie Lake Cowichan and Youbou.

Thanks for all of this support. Whether you share our posts, donate funds, donate refundables, donate Country Grocer receipts (till tapes)....we appreciate the community support. Without you there is no US❤️

Refundables can always be dropped at the gate at 7921 Cowichan Lake Rd. Please note that we have a shared driveway with our neighbour. Please DO NOT park on the right hand side of the gate. That is not our property. Pickup is available by calling or texting 250-380-8324. Messenger is not a reliable communication tool so please text or call 😀

Again, thank you for your kindness, you are making a difference for these fur babies that need you ❤️

We've still got 6 speuters (spay/neuters) coming up for our community cats. We had an intake of a litter of kittens (4 and then 1) that have made their way to safety with a couple of our rescue angels who are always there for the animals ❤️ Their lives will be so much better because of them❤️

Our Year Round Bottle Drive, as well as our Sunday Community Drives goes towards the goal of containers collected. Our Year runs from 1 July-30 June. We are creeping closer and just may reach our goal of 500,000 refundable containers this year! We've had this goal for many years but have yet to attain it.
