P.O. LaSalle Rotarians are comprised of professionals dedicated to improving their local and global community through volunteerism. Using fellowship, networking, and the highest of ethical standards, LaSalle Rotarians are helping to eradicate polio, and are passionate about reducing poverty via clean water projects around t
he world. We also have a zest for youth based programs, health, and literacy projects. Locally, at the Rotary Club of LaSalle Centennial we are proud of our numerous community projects, such as: stocking two school libraries with books, providing Holiday Baskets of Hope for needy families, providing a handicap lift for the swimming pool at St. Clair College, building a resource room at the Windsor Essex Therapeutic Riding Association, adding a community room at the Vollmer Complex, creating a library at Western Secondary School, installing Buddy Benches at local elementary schools, adding a couple of Little Free Libraries to our community and providing support to local youth through the LaSalle Hangout and the Interact Club of LaSalle. Each year we sponsor youth to attend leadership conferences like RYLA and Adventures in Canada. Annually we offer two scholarships to graduating students of the two local highschools. Internationally, our most recent project includes building water wells along with a 250,000L water storage tank in the community of Chilumba in Malawi as well as water filtration systems to several homes in Brazil. We will continue to supply clean water, sanitation and education to those around the world in need. We have put in more than thirteen water wells in India and a water treatment system in a village in Mexico, thus providing clean water and sanitation to thousands of people. We also provide educational supplies at a school in India, as well as refurbishing a school in Mexico and we support a Guatemala Literacy Project. Come join us and be part of the largest and greatest service organization in the world! Here's our 2023-24 Club Executive!
