Time for the competition!

Following the Kitimat Business Bootcamp workshop series, participating businesses will now have the chance to present their business ideas to a panel of judges for the chance at $6,000 in business grant funding.

The public is welcome to join this event, co-hosted by the District of Kitimat and the Kitimat Chamber of Commerce

This event is hosted at Tandoori Grill at 406 Enterprise Avenue, on Thursday, July 23, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.. There will be light refreshments provided.

Don't miss, this weekend there is a full slate of multicultural events in Kitimat!

On Friday, don't miss the Welcome to Kitimat Night, a social evening of gathering for locals and newcomers alike. Happens at the 50+ Centre from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.. Best of all, there is a door prize up for grabs for a tour on the Douglas Channel!

Then on Saturday, the annual flag raising takes place at the Kitimat Chamber of Commerce in the Heritage Park. The flags go up at 11:00 a.m. sharp!

Finally, join the multicultural dinner at the Luso Canadian Hall on Sunday evening, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tickets are currently available at Tamitik Jubilee Sports Complex and at Riverlodge Recreation Centre. Get your tickets fast!
