The Parade Corporation organizes Santa Parades throughout Windsor and Essex County, the Windsor Canada Day Parade and other large community events.

🇨🇦 Celebrate Canada Day in Downtown Windsor this Wednesday!

From 10a-2p, head downtown for a full lineup of family-friendly fun, live entertainment, and local experiences happening right in the heart of the city 👇

🎨 Canada Day Arts Fair (10 AM – 2 PM)
📍 University Ave (Pelissier to Freedom Way)

Enjoy face painting, kids programming, a stiltwalker, live music, sports activations, a water station, and the Fun Zone featuring free Timbits, clown, stickers and more, PLUS shop a local artisan market!

🎉 Canada Day Parade (11 AM – 1 PM)
📍 Ouellette Ave (Giles to Pitt St)

Catch the parade as it makes its way downtown, crossing through the Arts Fair around 11:30 AM! Featuring the Philippine Heritage Band, The Fire Guy, giant inflatables, a Parade of Flags, and Grand Marshal Patty Handysides 🇨🇦

Bring the whole family, wear your red & white, and spend the day celebrating in Downtown Windsor ❤️🤍

ROAD CLOSURE

Please note that the following roads will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, July 1, for the annual Canada Day Parade:

Beginning at 8:30 a.m.:
•Ouellette Ave (from Shepherd Street to Giles Blvd)

Beginning at 10:30 a.m.:
•Ouellette Avenue (from Shepherd Street to Wyandotte Street)

Beginning at 11:30 a.m.:
•Ouellette Avenue (from Shepherd Street to Riverside Drive)
•Pitt Street (from Ferry Street to Goyeau Street)

The parade begins at 11 a.m. and travels north on Ouellette Avenue from Giles Boulevard to Pitt Street before dispersing east and west on Pitt Street.

Please use alternate routes during this time. We will notify the public when the roads have re-opened to traffic.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Parade. On University at Ouellette both the DWBIA and Parade Corporation will have water, and don't forget to come see us at our fan zone, for facepainting, balloons from 10-12, free Firecracker Tim Bits, Flags, Colouring and Activity pages-while supplies last.
