📺👢 Community Help Needed: Rubber Boots & TV Donations Wanted!
We're looking for your help to make nature more accessible for everyone.
The Jack Miner Migratory Bird Sanctuary is seeking donations of gently used rubber boots (any size!) to support two exciting initiatives:
👢 Outdoor Education Programs – Every year, hundreds of students explore wetlands, forests, and fields with us. Having a variety of boots available ensures every child can participate comfortably, regardless of the weather or what they have at home.
🌲 The Kennedy Woods "Little Free Gear Library" – We're creating a community gear station at our Kennedy Woods trailhead where visitors can borrow rubber boots when the trails are muddy, then simply return them when they're finished. It's a simple way to help more people enjoy the outdoors while protecting their own footwear.
We're also looking for one more item:
📺 A functional used TV (larger than 32") with an HDMI input to help us share educational videos during our private tours and school programs.
If you have any of these items collecting dust, we'd love to give them a second life in conservation and environmental education.
Donations can be dropped off at The Jack Miner Migratory Bird Sanctuary during our regular business hours.
Every pair of boots helps another child splash through a wetland. Every borrowed pair helps another family enjoy our trails. Every donation makes a difference.
