I ran into Mark from Kids Action Program while we were both late night shopping! I happened to have a micro grant on behalf VWBN Valley Women's Business Network that needed to be delivered.

We spoke about the potential strike and what kind of effects that would have for school families. Many parents are concerned about travel logistics, if bus drivers strike. Mark was concerned about the kids who rely on the breakfast and lunch programs. Thank you Mark, Bo, Suann and the rest of the folks at Kids Action Program for all your hard work!

🎶 Calling all women musicians and singers of the Annapolis Valley and beyond! 🎶

The Valley Women's Business Network is thrilled to announce our first-ever VWBN Women's Expo on January 23rd at the Old Orchard Inn, from 10am to 4pm and we'd love for you to be part of it.

We're looking for women artists who would like to donate 30 minutes of their time to share their talent and help us celebrate women in business across the Valley and beyond. Acoustic and easy listening is ideal, and you're welcome to be a one-woman show.

In return, you'll be:

✨ Showcased on our website
✨ Featured on our social media pages
✨ Recognized as an in-kind sponsor of the first-ever VWBN Women's

Your music will set the tone for a day of connection, creativity, and possibility. When women lift each other up, the whole community grows, and your gift of time and talent would be not only welcomed but deeply appreciated.

If you've been looking for a warm, supportive room to share your voice, this is it. 💛

Interested? Send us a message or email [email protected] and tell us a little about your music. We'd love to hear from you!
