This announcement is going out to the many people who are connected with our Community Connections Centre. We have entered a new phase of our development as a Centre, "The Place to Find Help with the Challenges of Life" through Welcome, Listening, Learning and Laughter.

Nik’s Place, the GCSS’ Community Connections Centre, is moving to a smaller location in Kemptville. Programming will be suspended temporarily. Once we have established a new location, we will make a public announcement about future programming. Thanks to everyone who is supporting us.

We have a full evening for you at the Centre tonight! Join Dr. David Shanahan at 7:00pm for his fascinating talk on Indigenous Peoples and the Colonial Era of Canada. The North Grenville Historical Society will share photos and a brief history of Aboriginal Peoples in this area. Rounding out the evening will be a poetry reading by Vera Wabajesic.

Today marks the first of our Indigenous Peoples Awareness Days - on now 'til Saturday! Today's activities:
3:30 - 5:15 - ABC Sewing with Nokomis for kids aged 8 - 12
7:00 - Join us for dinner - we're having Indian tacos prepared by the Rekman family! This is a treat you won't want to miss!!
