Thank you to all the bakers and supporters of the Bishop's Mills Day Community Bake Sale. There was a great variety of baking provided by many different contributors.
Together over $1000 was raised to support the community hall.

🌸 Make a day of it in Bishop’s Mills this Saturday!

Here’s your guide to the 21st Annual Community Day Tomorrow May 23rd:

🕗 8am — Local garage sales kick off around the hamlet

🕘 9am — Community Hall (38 Main St) opens with:
🍰 WI Bake Sale (that’s us! 👋)
🔨 Silent auction of local items
📖 WI Tweedsmuir History display
🌿 Fragile Inheritance table — learn about native & invasive plants, ticks, and local conservation

🕘 9am — Oxford United Church Hall: craft & rummage sale & a lunch counter

🕙 10:30am–noon — Kids’ games at the Park (29 Mill Street)

All bake sale funds go toward maintaining our cherished Community Hall — which has been community-owned for 100 years this year! The Bishop’s Mills Community Association is also marking its 50th anniversary. What a year to celebrate. 🎊

We’d love to see you — come reconnect, catch up, and leave with something sweet. 💛

What a great way to support our local hospital!

A huge thank you to Bishop's Mills Women Involved for their generous donation from their Annual Christmas Fundraising Auction! 💖 Sheryl and Joan kindly popped by this morning to drop off the cheque. Their support is helping the KDH Foundation move closer to purchasing a new mammography machine, ensuring better care and early detection for women in our community.

We are so grateful for this incredible community support! 🙏
