WE ARE SOLD OUT!

Our double header this coming weekend is SOLD OUT!

This is the time of year our Thunder Mountain track provides such diverse and exciting conditions for racing. It’s not a wonder our spots filled up so fast.

Our next race is Saturday, December 13th so you have one more opportunity to get your rally cross fix before the year ends.

ANOTHER IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

1) Thunder Mountain Raceway is multi-discipline venue, and guys (and gals) at Thunder Mountain Offroad Park ( https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61555583615110 ) holding their Spooktacular 4x4 event same weekend as us. So Thunder mountain will be roaring!

With that in mind, they will need access road that goes along our track OPEN AT ALL TIMES for their rigs to go by, and spectators as well.

So we would like to ask EVERYONE to park as far OFF the road as possible (use campsites to park), any spectators, please park before you reach our potta potties, or at the campsites pass the track.

Same goes to ALL COMPETITORS, we ask everyone to park your car at the campsite or pass the potties while marshalling, to have as much space as possible to cars to line up for their next lap!

We will have marshals to help coordinate the traffic, but please be prepared that it will be busier than usual.

IRSA RX series are back to Thunder Mountain! This is the third event of the second part of BCRXC hosted between Kelowna and Big White.

Camping is available at the venue. Please let us know if you plan to camp!

Event requirements
All competitors must hold a valid driver’s license, have a helmet with a Snell 2010 or better rating and are required to fill out a waiver.

There is no cell receptoion at the property, so please fill the seasonal waiver before the event.

Continue your path on the 2025 BC Rallycross Championship or start your new auto racing hobby!

Welcome to all levels of rallycross enthusiasts!

The Interior Rally Sport Association begins its’ 2025 racing season at Thunder Mountain on Saturday, August 30th and Sunday, August 31st.

Come out for Day 1 or make it a double header.

Either way, get your gravel tires on and come rip up some dirt with us!

Lunch is available on site for $10. You’ll get a burger, chips and soft drink to keep you energized for a full day of racing.

Our track is looking better than ever with a new timing deck on our seacan. Camping sites are ready to welcome you (yes, you can camp on site). Course options are expanded and we are ready to roll!

Spectators are welcome and encouraged free of charge, but remember, everyone on site must show up with a completed online waiver.

RALLYCROSS SCHOOL
SUNDAY, JULY 6TH

Are you interested in RallyX events, wanted to join but you never find the right time to do it? We will hold RallyCross School this year! On July 6th 2025.
YOU DONT NEED BUILD RALLY CAR for this, bring your daily, bring $500 be**er, bring just about any car you have available (unless is convertible or too low or high off the ground).

This event will be our most accessible, cheapest and most laidback event of the year. We will work over some very basics of driving YOUR car on dirt, first in theory and then in practice on a very basic course.

All you need is car, and SNELL approved helmet, and we can help with that, we will have heaps of helmets up there that you can borrow and use for the day.

You (and anyone else coming to site with you) will need to fill out a waiver BEFORE arriving on site.

Let us know if you have any questions, tell your friend (maybe you can share car with someone and bring them over too!), if you looking to start or maybe come back to the sport, or perhaps learn few tips and tricks how to get some more speed on gravel, this is the event for you!

Work Party 2025 Edition

Date: June 14-15
Time: 8am - 5 pm (approximately)
Location: Thunder Mountain RallyX Track

A lot of behind-the-scenes work goes into making a fun event, and it begins long before the season starts. This is your chance to contribute your time and muscle towards the upcoming season.

The plan for this year is very ambitious, and we need as many volunteers as possible!

What to bring
Here is the list of items that would be very helpful for the work party:
Gloves
Shovels
Rakes
Saws
Clippers
Construction tools (for building stands)
Treated wood (compensation arrangements possible)

The master plan

Fixing track surface
There are some places where we want to fill in the ruts and even out the surface of the track. Most of this can be done with our little tractor. Some places would really benefit from a plate compactor.

Removing garbage
We will need to remove lots of garbage from the track. We will need volunteers to go around and collect trash from around the area. We will also need to load stuff in the trucks to take to the dump on the way home.

Build the stands
Some work was done last year, but there is still a lot to do to make benches for our guests.

Build the deck
Thanks to Brian Eller, we finally have wood for the deck and are able to begin construction. Hurray!

More items will be added to the list closer to the event.

We will be serving free lunch at the event
