👻 🍭 Halloween treats are sweet, but don’t let the wrappers go to waste!

You can recycle:
🍬 Chip and snack bags
🍬 Candy and granola bar wrappers
🍬 Flexible plastic treat and cookie bags
🍬 Cellophane treat bags

Put flexible plastic packaging in a bag with your other flexible plastics, then set it out with your paper and fibre recycling.

Not sure what goes where? Find more recycling information at www.circularmaterials.ca/kawarthalakes

🎃 What about your pumpkin?

Once decorations, lights and electronics are removed, unvarnished pumpkins and jack-o’-lanterns can go in your paper leaf and yard bags.

🍂 Curbside leaf and yard waste collection is coming up! Check the schedule at www.kawarthalakes.ca/LeafAndYard

If you're in the organics program, you can place pumpkins in your organics bin. Pumpkins must be inside the bin in order to be collected.

Happy Halloween!
