We’re so proud of the DTSS students who have been working on getting this “Late Bus” off the ground over the years. This will allow accessibility to many more students and community members who haven’t been able to rely on public transport. We encourage as many people to use the pilot as possible to show this evening route is needed in the Columbia Valley.

Rivers are the lifeblood of our country, and a worthy reason to get together on BC Rivers Day and paddle down the Columbia— one of North America’s great rivers.

Join us on September 27th at 9:30AM as we dip our paddles into the mighty Columbia, we’ll share stories and discuss the importance of healthy waterways, the wildlife and habitats they support, and what we can all do to help conserve these vital ecosystems.

🛶 Bring your own canoe/ kayak/ paddle board or rent one from our friends at Columbia River Paddle. They are also offering a shuttle bus back to Invermere.
