Our Community Apple Pressing day was a wonderful success thanks to all who came out and pitched in to do and learn about so many things we can do with our local apples.

We pressed an enormous quantity of apples which were provided by the Hazeltons' Harvest Hustle fruit rescue project and by some pressing participants. These yielded an estimated (and impressive!) 91 litres of amazing juice which tasted exactly like the autumn sun. 🌞 🍂

Great thanks to MASH, our volunteers and everyone who came out!

The last day to pick up Farmers' Market Coupons at the market will be Sunday, September 24. We have had significant demand this year and appreciate the sponsors who have allowed us to try to meet that need. Unused coupons can still be used at the remaining farmers markets in 2026.

The BC Farmers Markets Nutrition Coupon Program in our community is supported by local and regional sponsors, allowing us to expand access to this program. Thank you to Anspayaxw Education, Gitksan Government Commission, Hagwilget Village Council, Newmont Mines, and private, individual donors.
