REMINDER: GO VOTE!
Don’t forget to get out and vote early! Today is the last day for early voting until 8:00 PM at the Erwin Stege Building in New Hazelton.

You can vote if you are:
• a Canadian citizen,
• 18 or older on October 24, 2026, and
• a resident of B.C. since April 23, 2026.

Final Voting Day is October 24, 2026. 8am to 8pm. You can vote at the Erwin Stege Building in New Hazelton, St. Peters Anglican Church in Old Hazelton, Mount Rocher Church in South Hazelton. Sik-E-Dakh Community Hall in Sik-E-Dakh, Kispiox Community Hall in Kispiox. Gitsegukla Health Centre in Gitsegukla, Gitwangak Community Hall in Gitwangak, Gitanyow Independent School in Gitanyow.

Call for expressions of interest for two (2) Board of Directors:

Director of Natural Resources - One Position (2 year term) & Director at Large - One Position (3 year term)

The Gitxsan Laxyip Management Office (GLMO) invites expressions of interest from dedicated, community-minded individuals interested in serving on its Board of Directors.

The Board provides strategic direction and oversight of GLMO’s organizational operations, financial management and accountability.

The composition of the Board is intended to bring together individuals with a range of knowledge, experience, and perspectives that support the organization’s mandate. Directors are responsible for acting in the best interests of GLMO, exercising sound judgment, maintaining confidentiality, identifying and managing conflicts of interest, and providing strategic oversight of the organization.

How to Apply:
Interested applicants are invited to submit a letter of interest and a résumé or summary of relevant experience.

Your letter should identify the position you are applying for, explain your interest in serving on the GLMO Board and describe the knowledge, experience and perspective you would bring to the role. Please include your telephone number and email address.
