Wrinch Memorial Foundation

Wrinch Memorial Foundation Our support is ongoing and has been made possible through donations from community members, organizations and Grants to the Wrinch Memorial Foundation.

We are an evolving Grassroots Nonprofit Organization formed by local residents that provide Health, Education, Social and Housing Programs and Services in the Upper Skeena Region. Our Foundation continues to provide funds for equipment to support the Wrinch Memorial Hospital as well as provided funding for Hospital staff to pursue training to allow our hospital to continue to deliver a wide scope

of services. We have made donations to the Skeena Valley Education Society, Upper Skeena Housing Coalition, Girl Guides, Brownies and Scouts. Wrinch Memorial Foundation runs the following Community Programs:
Starting Smart Pregnancy Outreach Program, Stepping Stones Toddler Program, Prenatal Classes, Dolly Parton Imagination Library Program, New Horizons, Choose to Move and Covid-19 related Programs for Seniors. We have built and operated Skeena Place Assisted Living Facility since 2006. Our Board Members are: Jeff Holland, Alf Brady, Phil Muir, Gail Lowry, Julia Sundell, Peter Newbery, Sandra Harris, Yvonne Lattie, Diane MacRae, Ida Folden, Dean Paranich, Charles Buddy Smith, Joe Francis, and Peggy Muir
