There's something that happens when a child finds their first salamander under a log, or sits quietly long enough to hear the woodpecker above them. 🌳

That moment of true connection — with nature, with themselves, with the world — is exactly what we build our summers around at Natural Pathways Learning Centre.

This summer is extra meaningful for us. 💚 We are celebrating 10 years of forest school–inspired summer camps — 10 years of muddy knees, wild curiosity, campfire stories, and children discovering just how capable and courageous they really are.

Our camps aren't about keeping kids busy. They're about helping children grow — in confidence, in creativity, in resilience, and in a deep, lasting love for the living world around them.

We have multiple weeks and session options available to fit your family's schedule, but spots fill up fast, and we'd hate for your little explorer to miss out.

📋 Registration is open now — grab your spot here: https://www.naturalpathways.ca/product-page/summer-programs

Here's to 10 more years of wonder. 🌿

We are grateful for the support of the Kingsville Community Grant, which helps us bring nature‑based drop‑in programs to families across the region. While Natural Pathways calls Essex home, we love spending time in Kingsville — a community filled with beautiful shoreline spaces, welcoming people, and some of our favourite places to explore.

Our next drop‑in session will be on Sunday, May 31st, from 10–12 at Mettawas Park.
We’ll gather by the lighthouse near the parking lot, right across from — an easy spot for families to find and a fabulous place for lunch. From there, we’ll explore the lakeside, play, connect, and enjoy time together on the land.

These programs are welcoming and open to all.
We can’t wait to spend the morning with you in one of Kingsville’s most loved outdoor spaces.

We’re excited to welcome our community into the forest 🌳 this Monday as we continue celebrating 10 years of connection, nature, and belonging at Natural Pathways.

This drop‑in is generously supported through the ENWIN Utilities Community Support Program, helping us keep these gatherings accessible for all ages — children, teens, adults, and seniors alike.

If you’re able, donations are always welcome and go directly toward supporting our nature‑based programming across Essex County.

Bring your curiosity, your love of the outdoors, and whoever you enjoy spending time with — we’ll bring the forest magic 🌟✨.
Everyone is welcome.

We’re hiring a Camp Counsellor!
Natural Pathways is looking for a youth (ages 15–30) who loves the outdoors, enjoys working with children, and is eager to learn alongside our seasoned educators.
This is a support role with lots of opportunity for mentorship. Training is provided, and the ability to drive or arrange transportation is helpful as our programs run primarily in the county.

NEW DROP IN ALERT
We are grateful to receive support from the Kingsville Community Grant to offer nature‑based drop‑in programs throughout the Town of Kingsville this year. This partnership helps us bring accessible, land‑based experiences to families right where they are — connecting with nature, community, and each other.

Our first drop‑in session is scheduled for April 26th from 10–12.

Meet us in the parking lot off Herrington Street as we explore the trail side of Lakeside Park together.

We can’t wait to welcome you on the land. 🌿💚

Happy Earth🌎 Day from Natural Pathways!
Today, we celebrate the land that has held us, taught us, and welcomed our community for 10 beautiful years. Every season in the forest has reminded us to slow down, listen, and reconnect — with nature, with each other, and with ourselves.
Here’s to the trees that shelter us, the mud that grounds us, the wind that wakes us up, and the countless moments of wonder shared on the land. We’re so grateful for a decade of learning in nature, and for the community that continues to grow alongside us.

🎉We’re excited to welcome a Social Media Coordinator to our team this summer!
If you’re a youth (15–30) who loves storytelling, nature, and digital creativity, this role might be perfect for you.
This is a remote‑first position, with occasional visits to the forest to capture photos and videos.
We’ll also meet once a week in person—to brainstorm, co‑create campaigns, and check in on our social media strategy together. It’s a supportive, collaborative role with lots of room to learn and grow🌱.
