We would like to thank everyone who supported our Annual Steak and Egg Breakfast this past Saturday .
A special thanks to the following:

Thanks so much for your support as it made the event that much more memorable.

Lastly, a special thanks to Chris Farrell who behind the scene’s made arrangements for supplies and everything that was needed to make this event possible.

Our Fire Brigade was established in 1830. We have many traditions and one of them is when a new member passes his / her 6 month probation. On this occasion we have the new member step up and ring the bell. It’s a symbol that you have started a path that we all hope you will enjoy. Stay engaged and never stop learning. Keep up the good work .

It is with great pride that I make this post . Please join me in welcoming Shenstone Earle on completing his 6 month probationary period . He is actively participating and engaged in training and after next weekend he will have his first Gold Seal course under his belt .

Please join me in welcoming Robert Dove as he is our latest new probationary firefighter . Robert will be taking part in a 6 month training period with hopes of becoming a full time member . We wish him all the best and we are sure he will succeed .

Hi everyone, this Saturday March 14 ,2026 we are hosting our Annual St.Patty’s Day Steak and Eggs breakfast. There will be a limited number of tickets available at the door. There will be live music starting at 10 am with Rielly Meadus followed with MHA Pam Parsons and a few others .

HGVFB is returning from the second call tonight. This was for a report of smoke in the area of Cochran Street. Investigation determined the source of the smoke and all units returned to station.

HGVFB is returning from a report of smoke in the Noad Street area. Members investigated the report and no incident was found.

HGVFB is returning from a report of a single vehicle MVC on Veterans Highway. Upon arrival vehicle involved had left the scene.
