Before beginning the journey home, Ellaline spent her final day on the west coast exploring the beautiful community of Conche and soaking in even more of the incredible experiences that make Newfoundland and Labrador so special.

The day started with a delicious fishcake brunch, a true Newfoundland favorite, before heading out to tour the community and learn more about its history, culture, and breathtaking scenery.

One of the most unique adventures of the day was traveling to Crouse for some iceberg collecting! There's something truly amazing about experiencing these natural wonders up close and seeing firsthand why iceberg season attracts visitors from around the world.

From the warm hospitality of the people she met, to the stunning landscapes, rich history, and unforgettable experiences, Ellaline's time on the Great Northern Peninsula at The Iceberg Festival has been filled with memories she will cherish forever.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who welcomed her throughout her visit. The kindness, generosity, and community spirit she experienced along the way are a true reflection of what makes Newfoundland and Labrador such a special place to call home. 💙

⚔️🛡️ Exploring Viking History in L'Anse aux Meadows! 🛡️⚔️

Ellaline spent the day exploring the incredible historic site of L'Anse aux Meadows and learning all about the Vikings who once called this area home. It was fascinating to see how they lived, worked, and survived over 1,000 years ago!

What made the visit even more special was learning about her own family's history. Discovering those connections while standing in a place so rich in Norse history made for a truly unforgettable experience. 🇳🇴💙

The adventure didn't stop there! Last night's Viking Feast in St. Anthony was an absolute highlight of the trip. From the entertainment and storytelling to the incredible atmosphere, it was a night filled with laughter, fun, and memories. If you're ever visiting the area, this is definitely an experience you won't want to miss!

One of the sweetest moments of the evening was when the performers noticed the three children in attendance and presented each of them with a rune necklace to take home. It was such a thoughtful gesture, Ellaline truly enjoyed it and by the end of the night, Ellaline's little brother had fully embraced the experience and walked away convinced he was a Viking! It was truly magical!

Thank you to everyone who helped make these experiences so special. The history, hospitality, and unique culture of the Great Northern Peninsula continue to amaze us every day!

One of the highlights of Ellaline's visit to St. Anthony was an unforgettable tour yesterday with Northland Discovery Iceberg & Whale Tours!

🧊🍩 Icebergs and Iceberg Doughnuts — the perfect Newfoundland combination! 🏔️💙

Ellaline has has a very busy day yesterday so lots of posts coming to share but to start off - let's talk doughnuts!

While visiting St. Anthony, Ellaline, made a special stop at Tim Hortons to try their delicious The Iceberg Festival doughnuts. There was no better place to enjoy this sweet treat than while taking in the breathtaking sight of real icebergs drifting along our beautiful coastline.

From meeting amazing people to experiencing the unique traditions and attractions that make Newfoundland and Labrador so special, Ellaline is loving every moment of her summer adventures across the province. There is so much more to come from her trip this week so stay tuned!

👑☕💙 A Magical Evening at the Princess Tea Party 💙☕

Ellaline had an absolutely wonderful time attending the Princess Tea Party at The Point in St. Anthony last night as part of the Iceberg Festival festivities!

She loved meeting all of the children, who were incredibly sweet, kind, and full of smiles. It was such a special opportunity to spend time with so many young princes and princesses and share in the fun of this magical event.

A special thank you goes out to the amazing staff and The Iceberg Festival Committee for organizing such a fantastic event and for making Ellaline feel so welcome and appreciated throughout the evening. Their kindness certainly did not go unnoticed!

To make the occasion even more memorable, Ellaline was presented with a beautiful pair of locally made earrings and an Iceberg Festival keychain as a keepsake from her visit. What a thoughtful and meaningful gift to remember her time in St. Anthony.

Thank you again to everyone involved for creating such a special experience. The warmth, hospitality, and community spirit of St. Anthony continue to make this trip one Ellaline will never forget!

🧊💙 Exploring St. Anthony! 💙🧊

Ellaline had a wonderful day exploring the Town of St. Anthony and learning about the rich history and culture of Newfoundland and Labrador!

Her visit began at the Town Office, where she received a warm welcome before heading to the Grenfell Interpretation Centre. There, she had the opportunity to learn more about the incredible legacy of Sir Wilfred Grenfell and the impact he had on the people of the region.

Of course, no trip to St. Anthony would be complete without seeing one of nature's most breathtaking sights — an iceberg! 🌊🧊 Ellaline was thrilled to see one up close and experience firsthand one of the many wonders that make our province so special.

After such an amazing day of sightseeing and learning, Ellaline is excited to continue her adventures this evening at the Princess Tea Party as part of the St. Anthony Iceberg Festival. 👑☕✨
