To recognize we are offering a free safeTALK course with our friends at Communities Against Violence.
Course Date: May 10, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at the SPLASH Centre.

LivingWorks safeTALK is a training that equips people to be more alert to someone thinking of su***de and better able to connect them with further help. Using a simple yet effective model, LivingWorks safeTALK empowers everyone to make a difference. With over 120,000 people attending each year, it’s the world’s fastest-growing su***de prevention skills training course.

Our hearts are so full💚

This past weekend we had the amazing opportunity to partner with Carbonear Collegiate in the 1st Annual Sentinel Snowball Classic Volleyball Tournament in aid of men’s mental health!

From the tournament, they raised $891.20 to donate to our Jack @ Splash chapter! Sending a huge thank you to the Carbonear Collegiate volleyball boys, all participants, staff, and a big shout out to Matthew Sheppard who organized this event! We are so appreciative and thankful.

NL Health Services is pleased to offer a Mental Health Drop-in Group for individuals 18 years of age and older who are experiencing any issues with their mental health and who would like a safe space to access support and learn coping skills. This is an ongoing group that people can attend once, or regularly as needed.

Weekly virtual sessions will take place on Tuesdays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (Island time)/4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (in Labrador) beginning on January 19, 2024.
