Welcome to Germany! 🇩🇪

After a long journey, the Hamilton Aquatic Water Polo Club has officially arrived in Germany to begin an incredible international exchange with SSV Esslingen!

Over the next several days, our athletes will train, compete and experience a new culture. This is an amazing opportunity to learn, grow, and represent our club on the international stage.

A huge thank you to our hosts at SSV Esslingen for welcoming us. We can’t wait to share this experience with everyone back home!

No water polo Sunday July 19. All outdoor pools City of Hamilton have been closed due to the air quality. Our outdoor water polo will resume next Sunday.

Congratulations to Abby and Ashley on representing HAWPC and Team Ontario at the 2026 17U/19U Canadian Championships!

We are incredibly proud of the dedication, hard work, and commitment you’ve shown throughout the season. Wearing the Team Ontario cap is a tremendous achievement and a reflection of the countless hours you’ve put into developing your game.

Whether you’re picking up a water polo ball for the very first time or you’re a returning athlete looking to stay sharp, our Summer Water Polo program is for you.

Join us at the Lions Outdoor Pool on Jerseyville Rd in Ancaster. We are looking forward to skill development, fun games, new friendships, and plenty of sunshine! ☀️

🇨🇦 2026 Canadian Championships 🇨🇦

What an incredible week for Hamilton Aquatic Water Polo Club! We are so proud of our four athletes who represented Team Ontario on the national stage.

💚 Lily helped lead the Ontario Green Team to an undefeated tournament, capturing the Canadian Championship. She capped off an incredible performance by scoring 3 goals in the gold medal game!

💙 Alex, co-captain of the Ontario Blue Team, led alongside fellow HAWPC athletes Aleah and Fiona. Throughout the tournament, all three earned Player of the Game honours, and the team finished strong with a big win over Alberta.

🥈 On the boys’ side, Colin delivered a standout performance for Team Ontario, helping his squad battle all the way to the national championship game and secure a silver medal.

Representing your province is an incredible achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way these athletes competed, led, and represented both Ontario and HAWPC throughout the tournament.

Congratulations, Lily, Alex, Aleah, Fiona, and Colin! Your hard work, dedication, and passion continue to inspire our entire club.

This weekend, our HAWPC family came together for a year-end potluck and mini tournament alongside our friends from SSV Esslingen. It was a day filled with great competition, new friendships, delicious food, diving boards, slides and plenty of laughs both in and out of the pool.

This international exchange opportunity reminds us that water polo is about so much more than the game itself. It’s about building connections, learning from one another, sharing experiences, and creating memories that last a lifetime. United through water polo.

A huge thank you to all of our athletes, coaches, volunteers, and families who helped make this event such a success. And a special thank you to our guests from Germany for joining us—we hope your time in Canada has been unforgettable!

We’re excited to welcome SSV Esslingen to Canada for an incredible international exchange experience! 🇩🇪🇨🇦
