This weekend, our HAWPC family came together for a year-end potluck and mini tournament alongside our friends from SSV Esslingen. It was a day filled with great competition, new friendships, delicious food, diving boards, slides and plenty of laughs both in and out of the pool.

This international exchange opportunity reminds us that water polo is about so much more than the game itself. It’s about building connections, learning from one another, sharing experiences, and creating memories that last a lifetime. United through water polo.

A huge thank you to all of our athletes, coaches, volunteers, and families who helped make this event such a success. And a special thank you to our guests from Germany for joining us—we hope your time in Canada has been unforgettable!

Hamilton Water Polo is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated part-time coaches for the 2026–2027 season, beginning in September 2026.

If you have a passion for water polo, enjoy working with athletes, and want to help develop the next generation of players, we want to hear from you!

Coaching opportunities available at:
📍 Norman Pinky Lewis Recreation Centre
📍 H.G. Brewster Pool
📍 Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre

✅ NCCP certification required
✅ Water polo experience is an asset
✅ Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with athletes are essential

10u and 12u Provincial Championship weekend has come to and end and so has water polo for the season. As we wrap up an incredible season, we couldn’t be prouder of how far these young players have come. This weekend may have ended just short of the result we were chasing, but the growth, determination, teamwork, and heart shown all season long have been something truly special. They represented HAWPC with pride, and built a foundation for an exciting future. Sometimes the scoreboard doesn’t tell the full story, and this season’s story is one of progress, resilience, and so much to be proud of.

Way to battle all season long, 10U & 12U! Your future is bright, and this is only the beginning.

Wyatt’s hard work, dedication, and commitment to the sport have truly paid off. From his development with HAWPC to continuing his journey at Queens University, he has shown what it means to compete with passion and pride every step of the way. What an amazing achievement!
