The nomination deadline for the 15th Annual CIBPA Hamilton-Halton Excellence Awards Gala has been extended to Wednesday, July 15th.

We invite you to submit a nomination for a deserving business, entrepreneur, professional, or community leader within our Canadian-Italian business community.

The BEA Gala will be held on October 22, 2026 at Carmen’s Banquet Centre, where we will recognize individuals and organizations who are creating meaningful impact through leadership, business excellence, service, and community contribution.

This past weekend, CIBPA Hamilton took part in a meaningful visit to the Italian Canadian internment monument during Italian Heritage Month, joining the community in a moment of reflection and remembrance.

This also connects back to last year’s unveiling at the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa, where CIBPA participated in marking the official opening of the Italian Canadian internment display—an important step in bringing national attention to this chapter of Canada’s wartime history.

CIBPA has worked alongside partner organizations in supporting and advocating for the development of this exhibit, helping ensure the experiences of Italian Canadians affected during the Second World War are recognized and preserved within the national narrative.
