❤️ What a day, Halifax! ❤️

After months of planning, preparation, and countless hours behind the scenes, the Halifax Area Terry Fox Run came together for an incredible morning at Point Pleasant Park.

To everyone who ran, walked, volunteered, donated, fundraised, cheered, or helped make the event possible, thank you. Your support helps carry Terry’s Marathon of Hope forward and fuels vital cancer research.

A special thank you to our incredible volunteers and organizing team. From setup and registration to cheering participants across the route, it takes a community to bring this event to life, and Halifax showed up in a big way.

Terry dreamed of a world without cancer. Decades later, his determination continues to inspire millions of Canadians to come together and keep moving forward.

Meet Wade. ❤️

Just days before his third birthday, Wade was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. After two and a half years of treatment, Wade finally rang the bell.

Today, Wade is a happy, healthy six-year-old. His family is forever grateful for the cancer research and medical care that helped him get there.

Every year, Wade’s school, Hillcrest Public School in Cambridge, has taken part in the , raising nearly $40,000 for cancer research.
