We were delighted to receive $5,600...SIRCH’s portion of September’s Empty Bowls fundraiser to support our Food Security Programs.

To everyone who came for soup and took home a beautiful, one-of-a-kind bowl: your generosity will help ensure that 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐈𝐬 𝐎𝐧 𝐔𝐬 will continue through the winter months.

Heartfelt thanks to the local potters who handcrafted the bowls, the Chef's who made the delicious soups, the Volunteers that helped set up and serve. A special thank you to 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐄𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟒𝐂'𝐬 for her extraordinary organization of this year's event.

It truly takes a village...and we’re grateful you’re part of ours.

Every week, the SIRCH Bistro & Bakery kitchen does double duty. By day it's a welcoming place for lunch, a coffee, and fresh-baked bread. Behind the scenes, it's the hub where SIRCH's volunteers prepare the free meals that go out through the Community Kitchen.
In 2025, SIRCH prepared 22,000+ FREE nutritious meals across Haliburton and North Hastings Counties.
The Bistro & Bakery is a social enterprise: made-from-scratch food, local jobs and volunteer opportunities, and revenue that funds programs traditional funding doesn't cover. Every loaf baked and cup of coffee poured contributes to a larger purpose.
