What a great turnout at our Strawberry Tea and Fashion Show fundraiser event! We truly appreciate your support as a guest, sponsor, and volunteer.

A special thank you to our sponsors: Linseed's for the fashion attires, guest favours and prizes; Hildreth for the delicious strawberries; Sobey's for the whipped cream and Gaeta farms and greenhouses for the beautiful flower centrepieces.

Our models were comprised of HHS staff and WLMA volunteers, who did a fantastic job showcasing the attires provided by Linseed's.

We are excited to share that the demolition of the 'old' West Lincoln Memorial Hospital has officially begun. This is a significant milestone for our community, and it's a great opportunity to witness this transformation.

As National Volunteer Week comes to a close, our hearts are full. 💙

This week, we reflected on 82 years of extraordinary volunteers who have shaped the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and the community we all call home. Their dedication hasn't just supported a hospital; it has woven care, compassion, and connection into the fabric of our community for generations.

The theme of Ignite Volunteerism couldn't ring more true. Every hour given, every task done behind the scenes, every warm smile at the front desk... these are the sparks that keep our community strong.

To our volunteers, past and present: thank you. You are the reason we are here, and the reason we keep going.

Even though the weather is still on the cool side, we can’t help but think about the warmer days ahead. We are excited to announce our Strawberry Tea and Fashion Show is scheduled for June 11th!

Join us for a delightful afternoon where you can sip tea, enjoy delicious strawberry shortcake, and watch a fabulous fashion show hosted by Lindseed's. It’s a reminder that when we come together in service, we spark something powerful.

The West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Auxiliary was founded in 1944, and this year we proudly celebrate our 82nd Anniversary in our new home. We reflect on the generations of volunteers who have made this milestone possible. Their dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment continue to shape the future of healthcare in our community.
