The Northern Vegetarian Society (NVS) is located in the Greater Sudbury area of beautiful northeastern Ontario, Canada. Its purpose is to help the people of the area adopt and maintain a healthy vegetarian lifestyle. Membership is continually growing and attendance and interest in vegetarianism in the area have risen as well. The NVS is run solely by volunteers. We organize vegetarian potlucks thr

oughout the year, and offer vegetarian cooking classes twice annually. The NVS is a member of the International Vegetarian Union. We define vegetarianism as the practice of not eating meat, poultry or fish or their by-products, with or without the use of eggs or dairy products. You can reach us by e-mail at: [email protected]
