Some of the most popular houseplants out there (pothos, English ivy, sago palm, lilies, daffodils, etc.) are seriously toxic to cats. And unlike dogs or horses, cats have zero evolutionary instinct to avoid them.

When a group of volunteers takes on the responsibility of caring for community cats, it truly takes a village to provide for their basic needs — food, water, a clean and safe space, medical care — and, just as importantly, the attention and love they deserve.

For that reason, we are reaching out to our community.

We are looking for compassionate individuals who may be able to help, even if only for a few hours a week. Sharing the workload helps prevent volunteer burnout while ensuring our kitties continue to receive the proper care they need and deserve.
