Another life has been lost in our community.
Today, we extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones affected by this loss. Out of respect for those grieving, we will not be sharing details surrounding the circumstances.
What we can say is that this loss is a heartbreaking reminder that many people in our community continue to face dangerous and often life-threatening conditions while living without safe, stable housing. Every person deserves safety, dignity, and the opportunity to access the support they need.
Our team remains committed to supporting those most vulnerable and advocating for meaningful solutions. We are actively working alongside community partners, service providers, and municipal leaders to explore safer, more responsive approaches that prioritize both human dignity and community safety.
While complex challenges rarely have simple answers, we believe that collaboration, compassion, and urgency must remain at the forefront of our collective efforts.
Tonight, we ask our community to hold space for those grieving and to remember that behind every headline, statistic, or public discussion is a human being whose life mattered.
May they rest in peace. 🤍
