Team North Tryouts: Update and Thank You
To all the players and families who joined us for the 2026 Team North evaluations:
Thank you for an incredible display of Northern baseball talent. We were blown away by the turnout this year, with over 60 athletes competing for 16 roster spots in two different cities. The energy, effort, and skill level on the field will make our decisions as coaches extremely difficult.
While only a small group can be selected for this specific roster, there were far more positive takeaways from this weekend than just a final team list. We saw:
Incredible grit and work-day mentalities.
Strong fundamentals from players across the entire region.
Adjustment through adversity
At this level, the difference between players often comes down to the smallest details. If you aren't selected this time, please know that your performance was noticed, and we encourage you to keep working on your craft. The talent pool in the North is deeper than it has ever been.
The final roster is expected to be posted here by this Thursday.
Thank you again to the players for sharing your passion and to the parents, volunteers and hosts who make it possible. It was great to meet so many talented and respectful players. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the diamond soon.
