Favorite pre-class ritual?
Taking 5–10 minutes to quietly sit in my car and let go of everything that doesn’t serve me. I only want to give my class positive energy and good vibes, so I leave everything else behind.
How would you describe your class in 3 words

Advice for someone who wants to start but feels intimidated?
“Every one of us started where you are — unsure, uncomfortable, and worried that we weren’t fit enough to take the leap. The reality is that the only way to combat that fear is to let those feelings drive progress. We do hard things every day, and that’s how we grow.”
What do you love most about the True Grit community?
True Grit is incredibly welcoming and supportive. No matter what stage of life you’re in, people come together to find common ground and support one another. I can’t say enough about the positive culture here, and I’m forever grateful to be a part of it.
Do you ever get nervous before class?
Sometimes.
It’s okay to have an off day every once in a while. The most important thing I try to remember is that every day gives me an opportunity to be a little better than I was the day before — and that’s all I can really ask for.
