We’re proud to be part of an initiative bringing communication boards to 7 parks across Goderich! 🌳💬

COMMUNICATION BOARDS

Community Living-Central Huron (CLCH) is proud to support this initiative alongside the Town of Goderich, creating more opportunities for every child to truly belong, participate, and feel included in our beautiful community. Communication Boards have been installed at seven (7) locations in Town; Rotary Cove Beach, Main Beach, Lions Harbour Park, Victoria Park, Bannister Park, Bingham Park and the Maitland Recreation Centre playground.

The addition of a Communication Board, designed using principles of universal design, is an important step toward making our community more accessible for everyone. It supports young children in their early years, non-traditional communicators, children who use spoken language, and everyone in between. Because communication, connection and belonging should be opportunities available to every child.

CL-CH and the Town of Goderich are proud to be part of building a more inclusive community where every child has the opportunity to participate, connect and belong.

Due to the poor air quality advisories in our area, we have made the decision to cancel tonight's Caregiver Collective at the Exeter Splash Pad (6:00–7:30 p.m.).

The health and well-being of our caregivers and their families is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding.

Caregivers in huron county!
This event is for you and it is this coming Wednesday.

It is not too late to join us in some summer evening fun this week!

RISE Caregiver Collective will be meeting at the Exeter Splash Pad this Wednesday at 6pm! Adults will have their own slew of activities while kids can be supervised at the splash pad for some crafts and water play!

If you require child care, you must register in advance with [email protected] otherwise, if you are coming alone, just show up! We will have cold drinks and snacks! Carpooling can also be arranged with Laura too!
