A very successful Executive meeting with a special guest was held today.
Charles Oliver representing the Branch, spoke to us about tightening up some monetary security issues of which we were very appreciative to learn.
We have several future dates that will be keeping our ladies very busy in 2027!
1. Hosting the single and double darts Provincial tournament April 2027.
2. Organizing and celebrating our 80th anniversary June 5, 2027, and
3. Hosting a cold plate lunch for the Town of Goderich Bicentennial June 26, 2027.
Each of these events will be requiring organization and volunteers so ladies, be ready to sign some sheets at our regular General Meeting Tuesday Sept. 8 at 7 PM.

Friendly reminder that our EXECUTIVE meeting is tomorrow afternoon at 5 PM in the Jubilee Room. If you are unable to attend, please notify our First Vice President as she will be hosting the meeting.
Please come prepared to work hard as there are several items on the agenda to discuss, work through and provide a good report for our General Meeting on September 8, 2026.

The first 2 hours flew by and am enjoying the fruits of my labor (the onion cooker)....
Kind generous and hungry folks stopping by and the bbq is on until 4 PM today! It gets fired up tomorrow from 10 AM until 4 PM!
All by donation and all proceeds towards community betterment!
Thanks Comrade John Alice Koopmans for organizing all of the volunteers, prep work, set up, take down and cooking!
Thanks also Zehrs for the opportunity for hosting our fundraiser!

Don't forget our hot dog fundraiser that starts tomorrow !!!

Mark your calendars everyone as the ladies will be doing our yearly fundraiser this coming weekend!!

Come on....who doesn't like hot dogs but couple that with delicious fried onions...BAM!!!!

The chefs will be Zehrs Friday August 21 and Saturday August 22 from 10 to 4 PM.

By donation and all proceeds from this incredible fundraiser, will go back in to the community that we serve!!!

Our Ladies Auxiliary Branch 109 had a different style of offerings today. It worked out well by accounts and comments I heard.
Our condolences to the family and friends of Mel. The stories and reminiscing were never ending.

This morning a group of enthusiastic comrades met to start planning two big celebrations for next year!!
June of 2027 is going to be a very busy month for our Ladies Auxiliary Branch 109 as we celebrate our 80th Anniversary followed up closely by the Town of Goderich Bicentennial Celebrations!
Both of these celebrations are in the early planning stages but do mark June 5th, 2027 on your calendar as we celebrate our anniversary and June 25, 2027 for our participation meal for the Bicentennial.
More information will be forthcoming as our plans are 🔨🔨🔨 nailed down!!
Let the work begin!!

My table setting experts were at it again this morning, setting up for a family gathering this afternoon.
The second group of ladies were arriving to prepare the luncheon that was requested.
