A food hamper can be accessed by phoning in to our center on a Hamper Day and registering as a client. Hamper Days are:
Tuesday 10:00am -7:00pm
Thursday 10:00am-5:00pm
Registration requirements include photo ID, Alberta Health Care cards, and proof of residency within Fort Saskatchewan. Hampers are picked up at the building during hours of operation. Eligible individuals, families, or seniors
may receive a hamper every 30 days, if needed. How can I donate ? Donations can be made:
In person - drop off either food or a monetary donation during hours of operation at 11226 - 88 Avenue, Fort Saskatchewan. If making a large food donation please make drop off arrangements prior, by phoning 780-998-4099. By mail - donations can be mailed to Box 3404, Fort Saskatchewan, AB. T8L 2T3 ~A tax receipt is issued for donations over $20.00

Online donations receive an instant tax receipt. Store Collection Bins - our local partners Safeway, Co-op, Freson Bros, and No Frills have food bank bins year-round for nonperishable food donations, that our volunteers collect daily. We accept monetary donations, non-perishable food items, toiletries and household cleaning products. We do not accept outdated or opened product. We are always interested in growing our fresh food recovery program. Are you a retail producer / distributor / farmer seeking new ways to share excess food and reduce spoilage? Connect with us! How do I volunteer? We would love to have you join our team! All volunteers are required to complete and submit an application, along with a criminal record check. Applications can be picked up at the Food Bank during business hours. Once your completed application is returned you will be contacted to schedule a volunteer orientation session.
