Township of Stone Mills. Support Each Other! John & Julie Nizman Have Spearheaded Several Community Building Programs.

We Host Tamworth BIG Benefit Breakfasts & Tamworth Family Games Nights
We Also Host Special Community Meals.
100% of ALL Proceeds Get Donated to Charity & Local Groups in Need! They Have Helped Organize & Run the Verona Car Show Events for the Last 7 Yrs. All Proceeds from the Car Show Goes to Local Charities & Groups in Need Working Closley with the Great Folks @ Verona Lions Club. They Voluntee

red Heavily in Their Hometown of Moscow, Ontario. Started Community Programs "From Scratch" with Family Games Nights, A Canteen that Featured Dining In & Take Out Food Along with Numerous Benefit Meals. All Proceeds They Generated Went Directly to the Owner of Friends Meeting House (Moscow United Church). They Moved Their Talents About 10 Minutes from Their Home in Moscow to the Nice Community of Enterprise, Ontario. The Enterprise Community Hall is the Perfect Location for Their Rapidly Growing Charity Events. Family Games Nights, Special Benefit Meals & Wonderful Benefit Breakfasts are All Great for the Stone Mills Township Area.

100% Of ALL Proceeds are Given Directly to Local Charities & Local Groups in Need in the Stone Mills Township Area. Spending Time Building Relationships & Bringing Family, Friends & Neighbours Together is VERY Rewarding for Everyone Envolved ! Matt Donovan 📄🖊️

Matt Donovan is another player who grew up playing for the Kingston AAA Gaels (Formerly Fronts) and would be a dominant offensive force as he transitioned into Junior Hockey to play for the Gananoque Islanders PJHL and Kingston Voyageurs OJHL. Matt would follow up by playing three seasons with the Brockville Braves in the CCHL and finished off his Junior career in Amhertsview for the Jets PJHL where he would lead the way offensively and leave a lasting impact as a leader both on and off the ice.

We are so excited and grateful to be able to bring Matt Donovan to Tamworth for the upcoming season.

Luke Donovan 📄🖊️

Luke Donovan played for the Gananoque Islanders in the PJHL. Donovan has always been adored and admired by his teammates his character, communication and commitment to the game are some of the major reasons we focused on acquiring Donovan and his brother Matt.

Luke Donovan will be another staple on the back end of the Sabres defence this season, he brings a strong frame that will bring the boom physically to ensure his presence is known. We are so excited to have Luke on board.

Isaac Pascoal 📄🖊️

Isaac Pascoal grew up playing minor hockey for the AAA Gaels (Formerly Fronts). After Isaac’s minor hockey career, he would progress step by step and proved any doubters wrong and earned every opportunity that came his way. Pascoal would play in the PJHL for the Amhertsview Jets, OJHL for The Golden Hawks and Cougars, The BCHL for Alberni Valley and in the CCHL for Pembroke and Carleton Place.

In 2022, Isaac would join the RMC Paladins for four seasons in Canada’s prestigious USports League.

Isaac brings a new offensive artillery to the Tamworth Sabres. His agile manoeuvring and overall speed are notable assets that will improve the offensive structure of the Sabres. We are so thrilled to have Isaac Pascoal on board!

Charlie Young 📄🖊️

Charlie Young is an incredible young man, prior to joining the Deseronto Bulldogs in the NPHL, Charlie was a brick wall in the PJHL playing for the Amhertsview Jets. Young would be acquired via Signing for a post season EBUG role with the Tamworth Sabres and his energy and character were highly impactful upon arrival and brightened the dressing room.

Charlie Young has a strong skating ability, Young has a great frame at 6,1 which he utilizes methodically to his advantage to minimize space with precise depth management. Charlie will be a mighty addition in the crease for the Sabres.

Craig Cross 📄🖊️

Craig Cross grew up playing minor hockey in Kingston, ON for the AAA Gaels (formerly Fronts) organization. Cross has always been a powerful defensive weapon, after minor hockey Cross would go on to play in the CCHL, SIJHL, and finally get the call to return home to play for the Kingston Voyageurs OJHL team.

Cross is an original member of the NPHL (Formerly EOSHL) where he would dawn the ‘C’ and captain the Deseronto Bulldogs for multiple seasons, and have a brief stint in the FPHL for the Watertown Wolves. Craig was recently a league All-Star defensemen in 2025 attending the All-Star event in South Grenville. Craig Cross provides veteran defensive composure and leadership for our group, with agile skating, a powerful frame for both net front battles and body checking. Cross has a great shot from the point in the offensive zone and a strong defensive IQ and awareness.
We are grateful to have Craig Cross come aboard with the Tamworth Sabres.
