Yarker Minor Softball and Recreation

Yarker Minor Softball and Recreation Home of the Yarker Wildcats. Minor Softball runs from mid May to July / Aug. Our canteen is open for all home games.

Fully restored baseball diamond, soccer field & skating rink (cement pad with boards), located at 43 Cutler Rd., Yarker, ON. We run a U5 clinic, U7 T-Ball, U9, U11, U13, and possibly a U15 division thi syear. Our canteen is open for all home games, offering a variety of cold drinks and snacks.

On Saturday, May 30th the very first Car Show was hosted at the Yarker Ball Field. The event was enjoyed by many car enthusiasts and the weather was exceptional. In addition the good smells of the grill were in the air.

There were over 100 cars in attendance. 12 personnel from Yarker Firefighters Association represented. There were almost 200 burgers and over 100 hotdogs served up between 10 am - 2pm. That's impressive by any ball park standards!

Total donation and funds raised to be announced soon. All proceeds benefit Yarker Minor Softball and the Wildcats.

🚗🎉 What an incredible day at the inaugural Yarker Car Show! 🎉🚗

On behalf of Yarker Minor Softball, we want to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this event such a success.

🏁 151 amazing vehicles registered
👥 Hundreds of spectators attended throughout the day
🎟️ Countless raffle tickets, 50/50 tickets, award votes, and canteen purchases
❤️ An amazing community coming together to support local youth sports

Thanks to the support of our participants, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, donors, spectators, and community partners, we are thrilled to announce that the Yarker Car Show raised just under $3,500 for Yarker Minor Softball!

This was our first year organizing the event, and the turnout exceeded all expectations. Seeing the fields filled with classic cars, trucks, muscle cars, imports, and families enjoying the day was something special.

We would love to make the Yarker Car Show an annual tradition, but we can't do it alone. We are currently looking for volunteers interested in helping plan and organize next year's event. Whether you have experience with car shows, fundraising, sponsorships, promotions, or simply want to help out, we'd love to hear from you.
