Reep and the Township of Woolwich are working together to deliver a series of free workshops focused on ⚡Going Electric ⚡ The first one is March 11. Register soon.

Residents, we have a new workshop series to help Homeowners ⚡

In partnership with the Township of Woolwich , we'll explore the transition to electricity for everything from heating, to electric vehicles, other everyday conveniences, and solar power.

The first workshop is "Why go Electric?" Our ClimateActionWR Team will introduce electrification as one important climate strategy-exploring why shifting from fossil fuels to electric options in areas like buildings and transportation plays a role in reducing emissions alongside other local actions already underway.

Leave the leaves this fall! 🍂

While it is can be tempting to get outside and rake leaves off of your lawn and gardens, remember that leaf litter is important for:

- Improving soil health 🌱
-Providing habitat for native insects 🐜 and,
- Slowing down rain from storm events, so that it can soak into the soil! 🌧️

So leave those leaves or collect them and put them back in your garden bed. It is the best way for plants to create the soil they need to thrive.

Plus what's better than free organic mulch?
