The Colours of Place | Discover the Colours of Our Landscape🌿🎨

Did you know that the plants and natural materials around us can be transformed into beautiful dyes, pigments, and works of art?

The Colours of Place is a two-year community arts project inviting members of the English-speaking community of the Gaspé region to explore botanical dyes, traditional knowledge, and creative expression through a series of hands-on workshops.

🌸 Year 1: Explore natural dyeing, eco-printing, and collective textile creation.
🎨 Year 2: Discover botanical pigments, handmade paints, and mixed-media art, culminating in a community exhibition.

Along the way, we'll share skills, discover the colours hidden in our landscape, and connect through creativity!

We're looking for:
✨ Participants: Amateur artists and curious beginners from the English-speaking community who do not earn income from their art. No experience necessary!
✨ Artists & Facilitators: Artists, artisans, and knowledge holders interested in sharing their skills through hands-on workshops in English.
