“Circle of Light - A gathering to remember, honour and grieve those we’ve lost”
Doors will open at 3:15 p.m., with harp performance starting at 3:30 p.m., so those who wish can have some quiet reflective time before the service begins at 4 p.m.
Through music, poetry, silence, someone sharing their own lived experience of loss, and an opportunity to have your loved one’s name read aloud, this gathering will hold a gentle space for grief and remembrance.
The service will attend to our common psychological and spiritual needs for meaning, consolation, and connection, and yet will not include rituals specific to any religious tradition.
Hosted by Heron Hospice Society of Delta, in partnership with Alongside You, Ladner United Church and Estuary Church on Sunday, Nov. 22 at the Red Barn located at 6333 Market Avenue, Southlands Tsawwassen, Delta.
