The Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization made up of business and professional people sharing a common goal - the economic development of the Greater Charlottetown Area. The Chamber is the major voice of business on economic issues for its over 1,100 member businesses representing over 18,000 employees in the greater Charlottetown area. The Chamber's primary role is to advocate on behalf of its membership on issues affecting business and the community.

Last Wednesday, the Business Marketplace + Speakers’ Corner filled the 2nd level of The Confederation Court Mall with business owners, budding entrepreneurs, and community leaders, all there to discover, connect, and learn.

Following Wednesday night's Mayoral Candidates' Debate, hosted by the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Charlottetown Inc., we invited all seven mayoral candidates to respond to the top three audience-submitted questions, as voted on by attendees.

The top-voted questions focused on: Rental Property Ownership, Development and Heritage, and Hurricane Preparedness.

All candidates were given the same questions and an equal opportunity to respond. The responses received are published on our website, and we'll continue updating the page as additional responses come in.
