📸 July 23, 1917 at White Bear Lake Resort & White Bear First Nations
Take a step back 109 years ago today with these historic photos from our collection!
Captured on a sunny summer day, they show visitors relaxing on shaded porches, exploring the woods by early automobile, enjoying beach swims and boat rides, and taking in stunning hilltop views from the top of heart hill. You'll also see powerful portraits of White Bear First Nations band members in traditional cultural attire.
These images capture a special moment in time—blending resort leisure with the rich cultural heritage of White Bear First Nations. The lake remains a beloved gathering place today!
