🐾 Help Us Save Yuki 🐾
Many of you may remember Yuki, who was adopted in February 2026. On May 13, he returned to our care after becoming seriously ill. He was diagnosed with severe neurological FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis).
Not long ago, a FIP diagnosis was considered a death sentence. Today, thanks to GS-441524, there is hope. This life-saving medication has helped thousands of cats recover and go on to live healthy, happy lives.
Yuki’s journey has not been easy. For 19 days, he was unable to eat on his own and required syringe feeding around the clock. Watching him struggle was heartbreaking, but he never gave up.
Today marks Day 21 of his treatment, and we are thrilled to share that he is now eating on his own and showing signs of improvement. While we are encouraged by his progress, his battle is far from over. FIP treatment requires a minimum of 84 days, and we still need to raise $1,000 to ensure he can complete his course of medication.
As a small rescue, unexpected medical expenses like this are challenging. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps give Yuki the chance he deserves.
