🎉🐾 THREE HAPPY TAILS TO CELEBRATE! 🐾🎉

We’ve got some pretty exciting news over here at WildKind… three of our babies have found their forever homes! 🥹❤️

🐾 CHAI
This one has been a long time coming for our girl. After waiting so patiently for her happily ever after, Chai headed into foster… and apparently decided she wasn’t leaving. 😂❤️ She fits right in, she’s exactly where she belongs, and her foster home is officially her forever home!

🐾 MORTY
Our sweet boy will be heading home this weekend! His new family is already completely smitten with him, and we have a feeling Morty is going to have them wrapped around his little paw in no time. 🥰

🐾 PAISLEY
And tonight is Paisley’s big night! She’s heading to her forever home after single-handedly winning over her new mom AND brother. ❤️ There was really no standing a chance against this little girl.

Three dogs. Three families. Three brand-new chapters. 🏡🐾

These are the moments that make every vet bill, late-night message, stressful intake, pile of paperwork and bit of chaos worth it.

Today, on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we pause to listen, learn, reflect, and remember. 🧡

We honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and the generations of Indigenous Peoples who continue to carry the impacts of this history.

Reconciliation is more than one day. It means continuing to learn, acknowledging the truth, and choosing respect, compassion, and understanding in the days ahead.

Today, WildKind Rescue Society stands in remembrance and respect.

POPPY’S ORDER: ONE PUP CUP & A FOREVER FAMILY, PLEASE. 🐾☕️❤️

Poppy has been busy enjoying foster life — including a very important trip for a pup cup. 😂

This sweet, confident girl continues to show us just how much fun she is. She loves adventures, playing fetch, spending time with her people and, apparently, anything served in a tiny cup.

She’s smart, affectionate, playful and learning more every day in her foster home.

There’s just one thing missing from Poppy’s order…

A family to call her own. 🏡❤️

Poppy is ready for someone to take her on all of life’s adventures — big ones, little ones and, obviously, the occasional pup cup run. 🥹

Our sweet Junie girl is off to the vet this morning for her spay! 🐾💕

It feels like such a big milestone for this girl. From everything she came into care dealing with, to watching her heal, settle in and slowly let her personality shine through — she’s come a long way. 🥹

And you know what spay day means…

Junie is almost officially ready to find her people! 🏡❤️

She’s still our sweet, shy girl who likes to take things at her own pace, but once you earn her trust, there’s a whole lot of love waiting underneath.

Send our girl some good vibes for an easy surgery and smooth recovery today! 🤞🐶

Her next big adventure just might be finding HOME. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who donated their bottles to WildKind! Our latest bottle donations brought in $28.50 for the rescue. 🎉

It might not sound like a huge amount, but for a little rescue like ours, every dollar truly counts. That’s $28.50 toward food, supplies, vet care, and everything else our animals need while they wait for their forever homes. 🐶❤️

HOW HAS RUNE NOT FOUND HER FOREVER FAMILY YET?! 🥹❤️

Seriously… look at this girl.

Rune has been settling into foster life and her personality is really starting to shine. She is an absolute cuddle bug who loves being close to her people, soaking up belly rubs and curling up for a good nap. ❤️

She’s doing wonderfully with the other dogs in her foster home and even loves the resident cat! She’s playful, social and has been winning over pretty much everyone she meets.

Rune is also one smart little cookie. She’s learning “sit,” getting to know her name and continuing to work on her puppy training every day. 🐾

And yes, our original little drama queen still has a personality. 😂 She likes to tell you what she thinks and certainly knows how to make herself part of the conversation.

But more than anything, Rune is just a sweet little girl who wants to love and be loved.

She has a foster home.

Now she needs the one thing we can’t give her there forever:

Her family. 🏡❤️

Someone to grow up with. Someone to cuddle beside. Someone to give her endless belly rubs and call her theirs.

Rune is ready.

Maybe… today’s the day.

🎉 HAPPY ADOPTION, FRANKIE! 🎉

Our sweet Frankie girl headed out on a foster-to-adopt… and it didn’t take long for her to completely win over her dad’s heart. ❤️

Sometimes you just know — and these two were absolutely meant to find each other.

Frankie is thriving in her new home, gaining more confidence every single day and showing more and more of that sweet, adventurous girl we knew was hiding in there. 🥹

From the shy girl who wasn’t quite sure about this whole human thing, to finding her person and a home where she feels safe enough to blossom… this is exactly what we hoped for her.

🎉 RUDY IS HOME! 🏡💙

Our sweet boy Rudy officially went home last night! 🥹🐾

From the shy little guy who needed a minute to figure things out, to the smart, playful pup we’ve watched come out of his shell — it’s been so much fun watching Rudy grow.

Now he gets to start the best part… life with his very own family. ❤️

Thank you to his foster for giving him a safe place to land, helping him build confidence, and getting him ready for this next chapter.

Happy adoption, Rudy! 🥳 We hope your new life is filled with adventures, treats, belly rubs, and all the love you deserve.

💸 $5 FRIDAY — We could really use you this week. 🐾

We’ve been busy getting dogs healthy, comfortable and ready for their next chapters… and unfortunately, the vet bills have been busy too. 😅

Between previous appointments, X-rays, Junie’s diagnostics and care, plus upcoming surgeries, our current vet bill is sitting at over $1,000.

For a little rescue like WildKind, that number is scary.

We keep our rescue small and manageable for a reason, but even with a small number of dogs, medical costs add up fast. Every dog deserves the care they need, and we never want finances to be the reason we hesitate to provide it.

So for this week’s $5 Friday, we’re asking our WildKind community to help us chip away at that bill. ❤️

If 200 people donated just $5, that’s $1,000 and essentially one big scary vet bill taken off our shoulders.

🐾 A share helps.
🐾 It ALL adds up.
