"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." - John 16:33

In this passage, Jesus tells his disciples what is going to happen to them. He does not tell them that it is going to always be sunshine and roses or that life is going to be perfect but he tells them that they can have peace through it all. Peace, not because of the promise of never-ending happiness but because the disciples can trust in Jesus and in the One who is in control of everything.

And we can too. While Jesus said this specifically to his twelve disciples, as followers of Jesus we can also claim this promise. Because our faith is in Jesus and he is the one who has overcome, we can know that ultimately, we are with the one who can give us perfect peace, no matter the situation.

We had the best Keramiko summer yet! From the great outdoors, kick boxing, and lots of walks and coffees, our summer was full of friendship and connection!

💛 God’s love is bigger than your fears. 💛

Motherhood can bring so many fears.

Am I doing enough?
What if I mess this up?
What if something happens to my child?
What will the future look like?
Will I be able to handle what comes next?

Sometimes fear can feel bigger than everything else.

But mama, your fears are not bigger than your God.

God already knows every worry you carry. He sees the things you’re afraid to say out loud, the questions you don’t have answers to, and the moments when you wonder how you’re going to make it through.

And He meets you there with His love.

You don't have to know everything that tomorrow holds. You don't have to have every answer. You don't have to carry the weight of motherhood on your own.

You can bring your fears to the One who holds you and your children in His hands.

His love is greater than your anxiety.
His presence is greater than your uncertainty.
His strength is greater than your weakness.
And His faithfulness is greater than whatever tomorrow may bring.

When fear tells you, “You can't handle this,” remember that you don't have to handle it alone.

God is with you. God loves you. And His love is bigger than your fears. ❤️

Play Group at Calgary Life Church starts tomorrow!

Join Keramiko at 10:30 for some fun with letters tomorrow and a building theme the week after! We always have a great time with the group as the kids get to do different stations related to the theme and parents get a chance to catch up from the week.
