On September 2, 1964, Gloria Baylis walked into Montreal’s Queen Elizabeth Hotel looking for a nursing position.

What happened that day would eventually lead to a landmark case challenging racial discrimination in employment in Canada.

More than 60 years later, her story remains an important part of Canadian civil rights history and one that EnRoute 2 Success is committed to continuing to share, preserve and keep in conversation.
