🍋 A sweet way to support our community! 💛

On Sunday, August 30, local resident Alina Sutherland set up a lemonade stand in support of Manna Food Bank. With lemonade, freezies and chocolate bars on offer, Alina raised an incredible $358 to help support Manna and our neighbours in need!

We’re so grateful for Alina’s kindness, initiative and generosity. It’s a wonderful reminder that you’re never too young to make a difference in your community.

🎶 Music, community and generosity in action! ❤️

On August 5, The Hopheads took to the new Bandshell at Bracebridge Memorial Park for a free community concert — and turned a great evening of live music into support for Manna Food Bank.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone who donated throughout the concert, an incredible $483.50 was raised for Manna!

A big thank you to The Hopheads, the Town of Bracebridge, and everyone who came out, enjoyed the music and contributed. Every donation helps us support individuals and families in our community who are facing food insecurity. 💚

A heartfelt thank you to Leslie Barrie and the OSPCA for their generous donation of pet food to Manna Food Bank! 🐾❤️

We know that pets are family, and for many households facing food insecurity, caring for a beloved companion can be an added financial challenge. Donations like this help ensure families don't have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding their pets.

We're also grateful to be picking up another donation of pet food from the OSPCA on August 11. Thank you for your continued generosity and support of our community!

⛳ Tee Off Against Hunger! 🍽️

Join us for the Second Annual Tee Off Against Hunger Golf Tournament on Thursday, September 24 at South Muskoka Curling & Golf Club.

🎣 Fishing for Food is back! 🛶🥫

Help us fill the canoes with food for local families in need!

From July 30 to August 1, Manna Food Bank volunteers will be outside Your Independent Grocer and Food Basics collecting non-perishable food and cash donations.

🕘 Collection hours: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day.

As the canoes fill with your generosity, volunteers will transport the donations back to Manna throughout the day to help keep our shelves stocked for neighbours experiencing food insecurity.

Shopping at Your Independent Grocer? You can make giving even easier by purchasing a $40 pre-packed food donation bag, ready to be donated directly to Manna.

Every can, every box, every dollar, and every bag helps make a difference. If you're out shopping, please consider adding a few extra items to your cart for Manna. Together, we can help ensure everyone in our community has access to healthy food.

Join us this coming Civic Holiday long weekend for our annual Fishing For Food food drive. We will be located at Your Independent Grocer and Food Basics in Bracebridge.

A big thank you to this amazing group of volunteers! ❤️

Working together in the United Church kitchen, they transformed donated and rescued ingredients into 43 litres of vegetarian chili that will be shared with community members visiting Manna Food Bank over the coming week.

It's a wonderful example of how volunteers, rescued food, and community spirit come together to make a real difference.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time and energy to help nourish our neighbours. 💚
