BrightStart Caledon Family Centre Welcome to the Caledon Parent-Child Centre, an EarlyON Centre. A variety of theories, opinions and info may be shared through our communications.

Founded in 1987, BrightStart Caledon Family Centre (formerly Caledon Parent-Child Centre) is a nonprofit community service organization providing support, resources and education that strengthen families and promote the optimal development of children. We are a non-profit charitable corporation dedicated to providing support, resources and education for families, children and caregivers in Caledon

. Our ultimate goal is to promote the best possible start for children by:

1.Delivering programs designed to help children achieve optimal cognitive, physical, emotional and social development

2.Providing support, education and referral services for their families and caregivers. These views and opinions do not constitute an endorsement by the CPCC. Please use your own judgement when determining whether the information and advice will apply to your family/child.

Program Registration Week starts tomorrow! Our next series of FREE programs are ready to go and registration will open up on Monday, August 31, 2026 at 9 am.

A reminder that you can join the waitlist if the program you were hoping to join is full; we will contact folks on the wait list prior to the first week of classes if spots open up.

Welcome to The Friday Files—WEEK 7!
This week
Since Caledon and the surrounding areas have so many fun spots where you can explore and discover cool new things, we thought it might be fun to sneak a little learning into our Friday File!

Here are a few ways to learn while having fun this week:
• Visit a local museum to explore history and culture.
• Pack a picnic and learn to identify different plants and trees at your local park.
• Take a trip to a zoo or aquarium to discover amazing wildlife.

Play Learn and Grow in the Park is over for another year, and it was a great success. In spite of less than hopeful weather forecasts, we had an amazing turn out! We want to send out a huge thank you to our Community Partners who attended, sharing info and activities with the community and to our refreshment suppliers for their delicious contrbutions. Thanks so much to all of the families who joined us, and especially to our staff team and volunteers, who were amazing and had almost as much fun as the children! We'll follow up with a photo post as soon as we sift through everything. In the meantime, thanks again and we hope to see you all next year!
