All dressed up for Halloween and the Bolton Kin Toonie Sale.

Many thanks for all the support today…a $4,000 donation to Brightstart (formerly the Caledon Child/Parent Centre) has been made.

Bolton Kin donates to the Knotty Knitters and Crocheters…….a fantastic group of ladies who were formed 25 years ago to support the community with their knitted and crocheted items.

Lap blankets are donated to Kin Nursing Home and the Davis Centre.
Preemie/newborn hats donated to local hospitals.
Small octopuses donated to paediatric floors along hospital row in Toronto.
Chemo hats to oncology departments.
And last year over 2000 knitted/crocheted poppies for Remembrance Day.

Cooking At The Exchange…..last Friday Kin Gloria, Kin Pat, Kin Andree-Ann and Kin Mirella cooked up a storm….minestrone and meatballs in a sauce. 25 meals ready to go for those in need during the Thanksgiving Weekend. Well done ladies!!

Bolton Kin History #18….back in the 1970s, Bolton Kin organized Bicycle Rodeos at 4 of the Bolton schools. A great partnership with the OPP so that Bolton kids could learn to ride their bikes safely.

Check out the photo from 1973...you might recognize some faces.

Maybe with the onslaught of e-scooters, it might be time to bring back the bicycle rodeo!
