🟩 Bringing Up Great Kids Online Parenting Workshop
7:00 PM (Eastern Time Zone)
Monday June 29th, 2026

Best suited for parents of children aged 0–12 years, though parents of teenagers are welcome.

• Learn about children’s early brain development, in particular, young children’s emotional development and reasoning abilities.
• Reflect on the meaning behind your child’s behavior, and how your child’s behaviour may trigger you to react in a particular way.
• Explore the messages you have received about parenting and the messages you send to your children.
• Learn strategies to stay calm and present when dealing with challenging behaviours and strong emotions (mindfulness).
• Talk with other parents about the joys and challenges of parenting.

Physician and Psychiatrist psychoeducation groups. Veteran speak. Real talk. Zero judgment. We get it. Sessions covered under Blue Cross for veterans who have approved mental health conditions through VAC.

What a great day at the 8 Wing Trenton Surf & Turf! 🌊🏃‍♂️

The Veteran Farmer was proud to sponsor this fantastic event. Despite the wind, the weather held off, the turnout was amazing, and it was such a fun day connecting with the community.

We were honoured to help present medals to the participants and celebrate everyone’s hard work.

A special shoutout to our veteran volunteer, Lauren, for helping make the day so much fun and for doing an awesome job handing out medals!

Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who stopped by to say hello. We’re already looking forward to future events!

🟩 Circle of Security Online Parenting Workshop

Monday June 22nd, 2026

Best suited for parents of children aged 0–6 years, though parents of older kids/pre-teenagers are welcome.

Circle of Security Online Parenting Workshop info:

• This workshop is an introduction to Redoubt's Circle of Parenting 8 week program.
• Watch videos showing core principles of the program using infographics
• Discuss how this program can help you to:
• Strengthen the relationship between you and your child(ren).
• Better understand your child’s emotional world by learning to read your child’s emotional needs.
• Develop your confidence in supporting your child in managing emotions.
• Encourage the development of your child’s self-esteem.
• Reflect on your parenting experiences with other parents.
