It's that time of year when we get to support Capital Rainbow Refuge's annual gala to raise funds for sponsorship groups working with CRR. We know that most of our local supporters will not be able to attend the event in person so we are asking those who are able to make a donation to Quinte Rainbow through the CRR website:

In 2026 we expect to sponsor and settle 4 groups of LGBTQI+ including 2 single newcomers and a couple from Africa and another couple from Afghanistan.
In a world that has grown increasingly hostile or indifferent to the persecution of LGBTQI individuals, we will not turn our backs. Please don't turn yours.

The world may have forgotten them but we have not. Quinte Rainbow Refuge is encouraging friends and allies to help us continue our fight for LGBTQ refugees fleeing hate and persecution.

Quinte Rainbow Refuge is partnered with All-Together Housing which provides shelter and support for newcomers. Donations are eligible for a tax receipt.
