A huge thank you to everyone who helped make Wednesday’s event a success - our event partners, sponsors, volunteers, industry professionals, presenters, youth speakers, and everyone who joined us for a day of career exploration, hands-on learning, and meaningful connections.

From engaging presentations and panel discussions to tours of Loyalist College’s Skills Centre and conversations with local employers, the day was a great reminder of what’s possible when our community comes together to build the future workforce.

A special thank you to our event partners and sponsors:
City of Belleville & Belleville Economic Development, Hastings Prince Edward District School Board, Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board, Limestone District School Board, Loyalist College, Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP), and Centre for Workforce Development.

And a very special shoutout to our Diamond Sponsor, Crozier Heating, for helping make this event possible!

To our volunteers, thank you for your time and dedication. To our industry partners, thank you for sharing your knowledge and passion. And to every student and attendee who came out to learn, ask questions, and explore new possibilities, thank you for being part of it!

Together, we’re helping inspire the next generation of skilled trades professionals and strengthen the future of construction in Quinte.

Happy Thanksgiving from the Quinte Home Builders’ Association!

This Thanksgiving, we’re grateful for the people who make our community strong - our members, industry partners, trades, suppliers, and everyone who calls Quinte home.

Building homes is about more than bricks and beams. It’s about creating places where families gather, memories are made, and communities grow.

From our QHBA family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!
