🔨👷‍♀️ Happy International Women’s Day! 👷‍♀️🔧

Today we celebrate the incredible women in the industry who build our communities, and our future.

Across the Quinte region we are proud to see more women stepping into roles in residential construction as developers, engineers, renovators, designers, trades professionals, suppliers, and industry leaders. Their skill, innovation, and leadership are helping shape stronger homes and stronger communities.

We also recognize a special milestone for our CEO, Ruth Estwick, who celebrated 10 years in the residential construction industry in September of 2025. Through the leadership our CEO and the Board of the Quinte Home Builders’ Association, we have championed industry advocacy, workforce development, and initiatives like Quinte Careers in Construction, helping open doors for the next generation of skilled trades professionals.

This work reflects what today is all about; empowering women, supporting opportunity, and building a more inclusive industry for the future.

To all the women in construction and across our membership: thank you for the expertise, leadership, and dedication you bring to our industry every day.

Together, we are building more than homes, we are building opportunity and the future of residential construcion.

We had an amazing turnout of members & guests for our Q1 Dinner Meeting tonight, discussing QHBA’s mandate to elevate the industry as a key economic driver - Building Ontario’s Ecomomy from the Ground Up
